antenna lead

Give us an idea of the car mode which might help a bit.
On my car it disappears around the right hand side of the consol and vanishes.
I've just replaced my head unit with a DAB one which was fairly easy to install as the cabling is smaller than FM and can run under the cant rail holding the headlining up.

Well, if it's a convertible it won't be running along the cant rail that's for sure.
Which side is the antenna on? It will be heading from the head unit to that side and may run along the top of the gearbox consol (i'm trying to remember what I was doing a long while ago when I accidentally came across it).
Are you replacing the lead for any particular reason? It may be easier to just run a new one and leave the old one in situ.
