Default Antenna Seal

The rubber seal on my antenna rotted and I bought a new one. Any advice on how to install it? It seems like I might need to take the antenna off first.

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to XJS forum.

Please add your vehicle details as requested in replies to your Intro and members here with the same model will be able to advise on the antenna.

Did it in the spring. Yes, remove the entire power antenna assembly (one or two hex-head screws at the bottom bracket). Then you'll have access to the grommet. Check to ensure the drain pipe (#9 in the photo) is attached when you have it all back together.
