Opinion? Tips? Mounting? Was it worth doing?

Default Aftermarket backup camera

Relatively simple. I got a front/rear setup that snaps over the rear view mirror. The monitor is embedded in the new mirror and captures the front with a picture in picture of rear until the reverse lights come on then goes fully rearview. Only drawback is, in sunlight, the image is hard to see through the two way mirror.
I used the old cable from my six disc CD changer to get back to the dash from the trunk.

Thanks for the reply.
I like your idea to use the old CD cable. I've been wondering about the best way to snake the wires through.
