Greetings everyone.

Has anyone successfully purchased a Bell or Quicksilver SS exhaust kit for a 1992 5.3L?

The one's currently listed for sale at various dealers and the Quicksilver site are all for pre-facelift or for 3.2 or 4.0L or for the 6.0L version.

A bit confused here. Not certain if the facelift and pre-facelift are interchangeable for the 5.3L. In all honestly, they look the same but it is an expensive purchase to make a mistake on!

Talk to SNG Barratt, who are a Bell supplier, or ask Simply Performance, who make their own pretty decent stainless system. The only difference, if there is one will be in the downpipe/catalyst area.

 

Charles! Your Double Six...may we see some photos please? Formidable car and I've never seen that colour.

 

A 1992 5.3 facelift uses same Bell exhaust as 1984. (I have an 83 and 92). Call SNGBarratt, especially if you’re interested in deleting some or all catalytic converters. Bell exhausts are great, I hade several on my cars. One is 20 years old!
