I’ve bit the bullet and been to the paint suppliers today to look at black paint samples . Narrowed it down to three for my 89 convertible. There is the period correct black which is a flat non metallic and a couple of more modern metallic colours. Originality is not too important as I am changing the colour. What do you folks think about the flat black jag colour compared to a more modern metallic? Can’t make my mind up.

 

I say metallic dark Blue! Seriously, metallic black, metallic look brilliant on XJSs.
