Default A/C Right Hand Fan Never Stops

Hi Guys, I do have a 1995 Jaguar XJS. When I bought the car, the A/C was not working and I didn't care because I hate to close windows and turn the A/C on.. Now, it's crazy hot in Santa Monica, CA and I need to turn A/C on but the problem is; On the right hand side fuse box, the fuse for the fan (20amp yellow) was taken out and put on the side, because when you put the fuse back to where it supposed to go, the whole A/C system works fine but when I turn it off and even when I leave the car, the fan never stops...the switches by the radio seem to be working fine... anybody has any idea how to fix it?? Here in Santa Monica, it's crazy expensive, all the mechanics want to charge you as much as they want, you can't trust anybody... Thank You.

IF the '95 still used the Delaniar MkIII climate control (and I'm pretty sure it does) the problem is probably in the blower motor circuit board

Although the always-stays-on symptom isn't mention in the text here's an article that'll give you an idea of what I'm talking about

Air conditioning blower control

Removing the blower motor is a real b*tch

Cheers

I appreciate for the reply Doug, but it seems to be a serious issue that I don't want to mess with it that much... I thought it might be simple cable or some type of switch issue but it sounds like a big electrical problem... but thank you so much anyway... let's enjoy the sweat..;D

I developed the same problem as you have (motor always on). The correct way from what I have read is to pull the right hand motor and redo the circuit board. As a quick and easy fix I bought fuse taps, a 20 amp wired fuse holder and a rocker switch that I installed with velcro inside the glove box of my 93 XJS. It works great and who knows maybe it will be the permanent fix! I noticed that you have a 95 model and those do not have a glove box but you could put the switch anywhere it is convenient.
