Default a/c vac pipes

is there anyway I could have reconnected the vac pipes in a/c unit the wrong way round as on high speed I get massive air out of the foot well vents and virtually a draught out the centre vent, I have changed a few vac pipes in the past and wondered if I have reversed a pair, if so where.

This document may help if you have the Delanaire II; but how you get at them without the unit out of the car I have no idea...

I checked my gas a/c pressure and it was only 26 lb or whatever 26 is, I re-gassed it to 35 and all works as it should when it should, in this weather, not very often, checked all joint with ultra violet, all sound so it must be ATS not gassing it correctly in the first place,
