Car won't start - no crank
These aftermarket immobiliser/alarm systems should be binned instantly when discovered. I have had two, one on my previous RRC and it create big problems before i finally took it off. Currently having same brand system on my P6 Rover and it will fly away next winter as it is very moody and already gave me more gray hairs by refusing to stop alarm when i was going with tight schedule.
Both systems installed by previous owner, very nice to start troubleshooting on remote fueling station during summer trip... (this happened with RRC, no start after filling fuel tank) You know, car parked on pump, wife and kids on board and about +1hour drive to summer cottage. Current system on P6 is luckily installed w/o immobiliser function but driving with sounding alarm is not very attaractive choice.
Anyway, to the bin. Just to clarify, i am quite tolerant person... daily driver is RR P38 which factory alarm/immo IS very tempremental too. Even with its hiccups it is somehow logical.
