Changing B-Pillar covers?

Changing B-Pillar covers?
Is it possible to replace the B pillar cover on my 1995 XJS?
I'm talking about the black metal piece just in front of the rear window.
I pulled the door seal and see that there are two screws on door opening side of the pillar.
Or do you have to remove the rear windows to remove them properly?
I've had a look at the service manual but I cannot see any help on this one.
It's the only part on the car going rusty and they don't look nice! lol
Thanks,
Andrew.

The "B-post finishers" (part nos. BEC10931 and BEC10930) on my 1992 have three screws accessed by pulling away the door window seal along the B-pillar. Once you remove the screws, it comes off easily with some gentle and careful levering - mine was also stuck on with a bit of glue and foam tape, presumably to aid assembly at the factory.
I'm planning to sand and respray mine with satin black (I believe that was the original factory finish, right?) because some previous owner repainted them matt black with what looks like a wallpaper pasting brush and left paint on the side window seal and chrome roof rail.
Now refitting the window seal is another matter - does anyone know any tricks or can anyone recommend a tool for doing this?
Cheers Paul
