I'd say it's a move in the right direction BUT that x300 section needs broken down into separate sections.

I've been playing over there. I began my Jaguar forum experience there.

I'm getting the hang of the more intuitive navigation.

And a huge appreciation of the efforts to get there.

Wow. Big change.

IMHO it's gone from 90s ancient difficult to modern difficult in one fell swoop!

I always thought the old site was hard to use. The new one is the same...

I was a member of JL when I first bought my XJS, but found the help here on Jaguarforums much more friendly. I have not been back to JL for 7 years now

I still visit JL regularly....mostly the Series I-II-III section.... but don't post very often.

When I was a regular JL user I noticed a tendency for each section to have a few people who seemed to control the mood and tenor of the discussions, for better or worse. That's normal, or at least inevitable, I reckon.

The XJS section in particular, IMO, had a handful of somewhat abrasive personalities. There was an aura of "we don't suffer fools gladly around here". I had quite a few off-list conversations with XJS owners who were reluctant to post in that section as they felt intimidated.

Just my opinion/observation.

From my occasional visits I'd say that the mood now is lighter than it was many years ago.

Cheers
DD
