Default cold and hot air switch

1992 xjs convertible does anyone have a drawing of the switch hook up
my heater blows nothing but hot air even when its set on 60

I think there is a possibility you have some stuck mode motors. They are the items that switch the air flow to adjust the outlet temperature. They are the two shaded items in the attached picture. The lower one is mounted basically behind the control module. Since you are stuck on heat, set the controls to full cold, and give these two motors a couple of good taps. I use a long narrow screwdriver to reach the upper one. Sometimes they can be jarred and will work again for a while. They will ultimately have to be changed I'm sure, but it could help for a while.

If that doesn't get you anywhere, the next thing to look at is the temperature sensor string. That gets a little more involved.
