Default Cooling Hoses source

I hope to have my XJS cooling hoses replaced as time permits, and I see where an E-Bay store (Zero Point Cooling), has a complete set (15 pc) of ZPC Blue Silicone Cooling Hoses for the XJS, for $168. Has anyone bought/used these from this supplier? -I do know the value of modern silicone in industry, and think they would be a good investment.

i wanted these but wanted black ones. I don't know what it is...maybe people are so proud and ready to showoff their fancy new things that they love BLUE hoses and things like RED bushings....
So i ended up buying a cheapo full rubber set for about 75 dollars on ebay. Its really nice to have the piece of mind. They were all URO brand which i have had alot of before.

They felt a bit thing compared to the stock hoses but i have had no problems with any hoses getting sucked shut.

If you have the money and want silicone i say go for it. They should last really long.ZPC makes hoses for a lot of different stuff, so i would same they are probably a decent reputable company.

Interesting about the aftermarket hoses. I once had a URO bottom radiator hose suck shut at speed, and ever since then, hoses went over on my OEM ORIGINAL Jaguar list only. Perhaps the quality has improved...

yeah you can tell not all of their stuff is high end, they make a lot of XJS parts and many of them are very cheap. I think all my hoses, my brake rebuild kit, my sending unit, oil sensor, and hood struts are all uro.

Have had no problems. Again the hoses are thinner but no problems so far and if it were me....for the cost difference id just get a spring to put in the hose and not worry anymore
