After removing the bellows from the cruise to rewire the solenoids, I found that the cable was frayed badly, tried to undo the 3 screws that hold up the accelerator pedal, too tight and too hot today to get involved, so looked through jaguar parts, not available, and £50 if they were, checked ebay, loads on there, but only LHD, so I removed the outer cut it down 3 inches cut the inner the same. Slid it all back on the inner and hey presto good as new.there is just enough length in the outer to handle the shortening, but be careful it hasn't been done B4
