The car is still for sale...asking $18,000.....

jaguar xjs 1991 classic collection 64k original miles

He has far too much money and sentiment tied up into it. He will wait a very long time finding a buyer who shares his taste. Such is the problem with trying to sell a custom car (unless your name is Foose).

I like halo headlights. I've liked them ever since BMW introduced them in the late 90s (I believe they were originally dubbed "Angel Eyes").

My problem with the aftermarket halos is that I'm concerned that much more R&D went into how they look, than into how they actually perform. On a nearly 2-ton, 150mph car, that encourages a spirited driving style, the function of a headlight is far more important to me than how cool it looks. On the XJS, I'll take my old school 5-3/4" Euro spec Cibies rewired w/ properly sized wiring running through the correct circuits, and a pair of 100watt 4537 aircraft landing lights for driving lights, over pretty much any other headlight out there.

This whole custom XJS package simply does not work. You have a paint scheme that says " racer " but then wire wheels and the hood leaper that says " old classic cruiser ".

I am not familiar with the custom front bumper that was put on the car but to my eye the front of the car needs to be lowered to even begin to make that front bumper look correct. Just seems very odd to have this aggressive racer type front bumper that looks like it belongs on a TWR race car and then you have mud flaps and wire wheels and the front of the car sitting higher then any XJS I have seen.
