Being down with a virus, and too much time on my hands, I found this-

As a result of my "cabin fever" all winter, I ended up with a 1987 XJSC... dangerous thoughts indeed! But the good kind

no you cant have it together in a week. nobody spends 24 years building a dumb live axle chevy v8 drag car and stops a week from being finished to sell it on craigslist incomplete.

Only maybe if some disastrous health issue came up and he became completely unable. After working on this for 24 years he's probably not a young guy by now. I have lightened 3 of the photos and added contrast. This is not shop where any work happens and hasn't for a long time.

By his own admission the car has been on the lift the past 4 years so probably there has been Nothing done in that time. Maybe he's looking the Grim Reaper in the face and wants to dispose of the car so his wife doesn't have to deal with it.

You're right though, a person would have to KNOW what was done and how it was done and be Very Motivated to even Dream of having it done in a week.

Called Wednesday night to view White collector plate xjs on Friday. Car sold Thursday. 24 hours and gone. Someone got a good deal

Good for him. The car was up for sale last year as well I'm glad the guy finally got it going.
