Does anyone know the rate of fuel flow..
Does anyone know the rate of fuel flow that an internal jaguar electric fuel pump puts out on a late model face lift xjs? I'm not talking the actual pressure which I'm told can surge to upwards of a 120 p.s.i. (let me know if that's right or wrong, I'm thinking it's only, like, about 60 at the most anyway), but whether or not it flows around 30 g.p.h. or 45 or as much a 90 or 200, which I doubt on those last two higher numbers. More likely it's about 30. at least I hope, so I can use it properly with the new fuel pressure regulator with the proper size return line, approximately 5/16" 's or really around 8 mm. I'm trying to use a Mallory 4307m regulator with the Jags system to drop down the final pressure to around 5 to 7 for a carbureted chevy 305 with a roller cam, and slightly larger than an RV cam camshaft.
