Someone will surely come along with some pics but it's mounted, roughly, in the area of the RH trunk lid hinge

You should have some bracketry like this:

Cheers

The lug on the end of the ECU fits into a fitting on the outboard side of the reinforcer, and two bolts go into captive nuts through the open-ended lugs on the end with the multiplug. You can just see mine in this photo, the silver square just to the right of the relay blocks, behind the reinforcer. There is also a vac tube that goes to it.

Interesting... Mine sits in the exact same area but flat. There are two threaded studs that fit perfectly into cutouts on the framing of the ECU base... Harness connects on the bottom same as yours, but with the ECU laying flat, broadside down...

I want to know the direction of turn for the POT on the ECU? In my case the POT access hole (ECU laying flat broadside down - do I turn (click) forward or towards the rear of the car to lean/richen the mixture... Been having a hard time getting an answer on this question. Right now I have it set in 7 (in the middle) because I don't know which way is which.

I was reading this... I don't want to go tooooo crazy with this. Just thought it would be good to know and yes, maybe today I will hook my multiMeter up to the doggone thing... Looking for a value of 2.2 - 3v on the banks.

In other places I read about an in line 47uF capacitor (which I don't have but can get) or something due to use of a DMM as opposed to a scope (which I don't have and DON'T WANT to get right now ~~~ although it would be very useful on my XKR with PWM problems) because of the square wave form...

Anyways, rather than doing all that,,,, I was told by GF a looooong time ago to just listen for the "purrrr to sweeten up"... Maybe I'm good enough (I'm not) to know that sound but STILL it would be good to know which direction is which...?

The "6clicks back from rich" as described by Walter on JagLovers... Which is "BACK"? I have mine set at basically center (which would be about six clicks)

Remember ~ I just eliminated all CATS, had a bung installed to place to 02 sensors in the down pipes,,, and it seems like an important thing to try to figure out what the sensors are doing (if anything) and what's going on with them. It's the reason for my wants and questions...

JagLovers """" I would check that the difference between left and right bank is not more than ~0.5v . You can set the idle mixture with the idle mixture pot on the side of the ecu. Factory setting is 6 'clicks' back from full rich +/-1 . Then check at 2500rpm.The green/white wire is the power to the ecu.

that's the duce
regards,
Walter"""

Place the capacitor across the dmm probes, watch cap polarity. You should get 1.9v open loop. In closed loop at idle, you'll bounce around that value ideally. Higher voltage is leaner if i remember correctly. On my ecu that means a clockwise turn is more lean. Mine is a 16CU Lucas
