engine and trans oil type

I won't 'recommend' anything in particular but here's what I use:
Engine: 20/50 conventional (non-synthetic) engine oil, any brand, most of the time. In winter, if temps get near freezing, I switch to 10/40.
Transmission: any brand Dexron III automatic transmission fluid, non-synthetic.
Brakes: any brand DOT4 brake fluid.
Differential: any brand 80/90w gear oil, non-synthetic, GL4 or GL5 specification
Others have their own specific preferences and will chime in.
