Just in case anyone in England is interested, I have just had my car resprayed by an outfit in Sheerness, Kent, for well under £900. They did any absolutely fantastic job, in the metallic red colour I chose (Citroen metallic 'Rouge d'enfer' code KJA). This was a mask up and paint effort, not a bare shell, and the finish is unbelieveably good, far better than the factory orignal even when it was new.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with these guys, but if like me you have searched for a sensible price for a flashover, you could hardly do better. This is the appreciation of the work they did that I posted on their site:

"When you get to the end of the earth at Sheerness, you find these guys, a piratical looking crew if ever I saw one. BUT, the devils spray like angels and produced a better than factory finish. Do not be put off by the yard full of insurance write-offs, these guys are brilliant!"

Your car looks great. Here in Texas I paid a lot of money to have my car stripped to bare metal , doors and all panels removed. They messed up the final stage so badly that it had "waves" underneath the clear. The car is currently getting redone at another custom shop because everyone else's standards here seem to be mediocre. Nice to see there are places you can still get a good job done without giving them body parts as payment
