This is long and detailed, but absolutely riveting stuff by one of Jaguar's senior development engineers. Well worth a read, some very interesting stuff about under bonnet temps which could reach 150° CENTIGRADE and melt the Opus box.

Tks for the link. If you haven't already, look through the whole of Neville's site. I've been following him for 5 years now as he seeks to recreate the original narrow-body XJ13 using an absolutely genuine ultra-rare twin cam V12! He's poured a huge amount of money and effort over the years into getting this project close to fruition. It's a masterpeice of design and engineering skills.
