Default Fuel injector servicing

Hi all,

I've been busy getting my newly purchased car running. I bought it without hearing it run and took a little gamble, but have finally gotten it running and it sounds great. So far, I've made a new injector harness and new wiring of anything associated with the engine. Took my seized distributor out and cleaned, oiled it. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor. Replaced most vacuum hoses. The main thing that was keeping it from running before was a bad Co-Ax wire from the amp to ECU. Still, I'm running on what I think is 11 cylinders, but I know the motor has no bad noises in it, it is very quiet.

Anyway, I'm thinking I have an injector that isn't working correctly since the car was sitting 9-10 years. I've removed the fuel rail to do the hoses, but was considering just sending out the injectors for inspection/verification/cleaning/ whatever. Does anyone have a recommendation of who does this service?

Any places to avoid?

Thanks,

Bill.

I have used InjectorRx in Houston. They clean them, replace the o-rings and provide you a before and after flow test.

Turn around time is usually a couple of days.

I'm sure there are plenty of good outfits. I've always had great service from:

Yep. What Doug said.
David is efficient, and provided me with great communication throughout the process.

Thank you guys.

I was on that website earlier and thought it looked pretty good. Thanks for the confirmation.

I've sent several sets of injectors to David over the years. He's aces in my book. I couldn't possibly ask for better service.

And he has fair pricing to boot!

Cheers

I'm in Dallas TX and have an injector cleaning machine that will flow test and ultrasonically clean the injectors. I charge $15/injector which is usually $10/injector less then the going rate which really adds up if you have 12 injectors to clean.

PM if interested.
