Default Fuel pump drainage or vent line?

When I took the metal plate off in my trunk, I found this line with no where to go. Do I need it for anything?

93xjs6cyl,

If you look at the parts website, it identify those 2 thin black pipes as being the fuel pump feed / return pipes.

No. the fuel feed and return pipes are under the tank.

One vents to the charcoal canister.

Not sure where the one in your hand goes.

No place for it to connect. Like Mouserider said, it goes to a hole in the floorboard of my trunk as if for a drain. I have two hoses going to the floorboard, the other one also makes me wonder what it's purpose is because appears to go over to my antenna.

it seems like we are facing the same issue on 2 different threads, please refer to mine, for additional info) https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...9/#post2588154

i have same evap flange and same question, why there are so many lines and what they do.

in my case im trying to figure out fuel smell in the trunk that comes out of evap flange electric socket, i fugure it our by blowing compressed air in the tank and spraying liquid on top of the flange and found bubles around the socket, question of mine, why it goes through the socket seal and not 2 evap lines, from which one is going directly to the trunk floor.
