Katoh, get your Jag tuned up - they should all burn rubber on full throttle.

This really destroys our reputation of refinement and gentleman's of our sophisticated vehicles and any other big word that I cant think of at the moment.

Katoh, when I first put it on the road I noticed it really was unimpressive in power and for the most part it ran smooth with an occasional stumble. On a hunch I started running fuel injector cleaner through it every time I filled up and lo and behold it made a huge difference!

I suspected the injectors were clogging up and the cleaner opened them up. Give it a try!

About a year ago, I rebuilt the FI wiring harness, removed all the injectors and had them cleaned . While doing that I overhauled the Dizzy replaced leads, plugs dizzy cap and anything else I could think off. One thing I didn’t change is the TPS, could be might be causing a hassle. Drove the car and went like a rocket, but not have that rubber melting power, Quick yes, mighty quick. One thing I did find after that was the gearbox was low on fluid, so that's one problem sorted, but I have being unable to drive the car since then.
The local authorities look very dimly on people who drive there cars with no bonnets, long story short my bonnet is having pressed in flutes put into either side for venting, not huge amount but stylish and quite concealed, until I get this bonnet back I have no idea if its going to brake the *** end loose or not.

Ahhh...I've considered doing that to my hood many times, but I couldn't find anyone who could do it and I always worried about rainwater getting into the engine compartment.

I've been considering hood louvers for awhile. The rain was definitely a concern of mine.

Actually rain water was not a concern of mine at all, with the pressed flutes comming up from the bponnet I could only see a minimal amount of water entering, but while car is on the way no water would be able to enter, I also roughly see them positioned over non critical areas or anything the can be damaged from a little water. This is the Chap that is doing mine, but he is simply waiting on tooling, even thought of buying another bonnet but they are rare round here and stupid money, so Ill just have to keep waiting.

They should end up very much like that, We draw a pattern on mine to get away from square look and possibly not so long down the bonnet. Who knows, one day I may actually get my bonnet back.
