Default Good day bad day.

Just never know when a great day can turn into disaster. Ijust finished installing my rear spoiler and went for a short drive. On thefirst bend out of town, a large highways gravel truck was coming towards me. Wewent around the corner together, and he lost part of his gravel all over mycar. Result is over 100 small chips in windshield, seventeen chips on frontfenders and hood, and a large chip in left headlamp glass. You just never knowdo you

BUGGA.

My wife had that many years ago with her Daimler S2.

Got cut off by one of those "Ewadymix" concrete trucks, OK, your bigger than me, go ahead. A few metres down the road the concrete mix starts to spill out of the rotating bowl, OOPS.

Needless to say the front of teh Daimler was less than appealing. This stuff was everywhere, and luckily plenty of witnesses.

The company paid for the repairs, and I made sure that car was "spot on". It took 4 months before I signed off on it.

The authoities also fined tham for unroadworthy truck, overfull bowl, reckless driving, etc etc.

Slapping a "not responsible for damage to windshield; stay back 500 ft" bumper sticker does not indemnify them. They need to pay for the damage.
