Grease Fittings for 96 XJS
First off, I would like to thank all the members who responded to a couple of Threads I posted earlier. This Forum is great.
So, another question: Going in for a routine oil and filter change soon. Is there any grease fittings that should be inspected and fresh grease added if needed ? Or are all the fittings considered sealed ? Thanks for any assistance.

Rear axle:
Under the diff, accessible through the holes in the bottom tie plate: 4
One on each UJ on the driveshafts: 4 in total
On the pre-facelifts there is one on the bottom of the hub carrier casting, I am not sure about the facelist cars.
There may be a nipple on the front hub, the front wheels have to be removed to find it.
A couple of pumps on each nipple will do it.

Be careful with greasing the inner wishbones at the diff accessible thru the tieplate. Too much grease put in with too much force can blow the rubber seals out of position, allowing dirt in. Take it slow and easy. BTDT.
