Default headlight wipers

while doing a pre test check my o/s headlight wiper has decided to park in the middle of the headlight instead of on the rest, I cant just alter the arm position as the are still doing a complete sweep just stopping in the wrong place, are there any fixes for this?

I have a vague feeling that the drive is a friction affair, rather than splines, Rex. It might be a matter of just turning the driven post downwards a bit.
