Default Headlining colours

I need to buy a new headlining for my XJS & am not sure which colour it came with from new.
The interior is Doeskin leather.
Looking about on eBay, there seems to be 2 colours available: grey or beige, & some come with coverings for the pillars/rear window side panels.
My headliner is missing completely & my rear side panels will need recovering - the rest is ok.
Does anyone know what would have originally been on the car?

Would have been beige, colour according to Jaguar is called 'Limestone'. Quite how limestone equates to beige is a mystery to me - all limestone I've ever seen is grey - but all the suppliers refer to it as beige.

I got the whole lot from headliner world but their site doesn't work particularly well. I still need to source some trim rivets to fix the interior lights though

Isn't limestone key in making scotch? I believe it is for bourbon....there's your beige!

After removing the backing with the fabric from the car, I brought it to my local shop.
They had the same exact material installed for $80.
Perfect job.

Incidentally, limestone tends to be beige. All the limestone caves I've been in have been beige rather than grey.
See these Google Image search results.

Limestone colour is variable for the record, I've never seen beige, it all depends where it was deposited, ranges from white, yellow, and gray to blue, beige, and cream - around my area it is grey.

Poor choice of colour names on Jaguars behalf to identify a colour using a term that isn't explicit.
