I've set about the task of adding or fixing existing heated seat function to my car, however a moron had already been in there, I pulled this tangle of crap out as it wasn't connected to anything.
Can anyone confirm the red plug is sourcing power for a heating pad? I'm thinking I can just buy a pad off amazon and replace or fit it's plug with this red one and it'll go. I don't think the white pad is a heater its too small?
Wish I could remember. There's 2 connectors; one for the lumbar support inflator, one for the heater. When I fixed my heaters I found 2 issues. On the drivers side the thermostatic switch (dig in there you'll find it) was cold soldered..easy fix. On the passenger side the thermostatic switch was cooked, i got a replacement from digikey..again easy fix.
Black orange+ grey stripe. I think I have a camera filter on so that threw it off. The plug came from in/under the seat and is a heavier gauge I assumed it was the heat power supply.
