Hi new to the forum I have a 1993 jaguar xjs convertible lost my only set of keys called jaguar they said they don't work on older models cant get in the trunk battery dead lock Smith says cant help me any advice

 

Periods and capital letters would certainly help.

Take off your rear license plate and see if there’s a hole. If there is, report back. If there isn’t….get a drill with a big bit and report back.

You can also search the forums for locked out of trunk access. You’ll see all the same info.

 

If that's a proper Jaguar dealer you called they are just being lazy. They are perfectly capable of finding out your key codes from Jaguar Heritage if you prove ownership and show them your ViIN.

Phone them back and ask them again.
