Help! Broken Oil Hose Fitting- Pics Included
I own a 1996 XJS Convertible with the AJ16.
I just finished replacing my fuel pressure valve when I noticed, from looking over the top of my engine, that a plastic looking 3-way fitting appeared broken! I can't get to it to take a good picture, but I'm hoping I can solve the problem with a new clamp or something.
I've attached a photo showing where it is. It looks like a plastic fitting tying three hoses together. I've marked two of the three hoses being tied together, with Yellow 1 & 2. The third hose goes underneath and is not visible in the picture.
Is this something I can repair in place, or must I order some part?
I've added pics of the top of the plastic part. If it's broken, it doesn't look like it broke apart sharply. It almost looks like it's supposed to come apart, but what holds it together?
Thanks!

I don't think these are still available. I can't count how many I installed when the Bulletin was issued for the AJ16 engine cars. You can try to epoxy/glue it back together or remove all the hoses, cap the dipstick tube appendage and get a replacement breather hose.
Here is the TSB to explain what was done.

AhA!
Thank you for putting the pieces together for me!
I did manage to figure out what it was using eBay as a reference. I found two people selling that part as part of another car, NOT the XJS.
I even came across this TSB, but I couldn't figure out why JDHT had no record of this part for the XJS.
Now it all makes sense.
I couldn't get to all the hose clamps to pull of the bottom half of this egg, so I took some Duluth X-Treme Tape and put a hose clamp over the two sides to help the clamp grip on to both halves.
Hopefully it should hold. I can't imagine there was that much pressure going through there. I don't know how long I've been driving with that plastic egg pulled apart!
Thanks again for the insight!!
