Just bought a xjs pre he v12 1980 it been stood for about 10 years got it turning over and it fired up and cut out only ran for about 3 seconds I've cleaned all 12 injectors out drained all the old fuel out n replace the fuel filter and bypassed the fuel pump to the battery I thing the fuel relay has gone the engine turns over freely any advice would be great just want her up n running thanks it only done 50000 only had 1 owner

 

You may want to check the trigger board inside the distributer as I think that is what fires the injectors.

 

Got it running now was a button on drivers side some safety thing to stop fuel coming through think water pump is seized tho
