Helps with a couple of parts -- Throttle Linkage and Coolant Reservoir Cap
In beginning to deal with the long list of issues on my 86 XJS, I am finding it is the little things that make you crazy.
For example, on the throttle linkage on the bottom right (driver's side) and bottom left (passenger's side) I am missing the plastic/rubber grommet that holds the linkage pin steady in the center of the hole. I cannot seem to find a parts supplier with those parts. Ideas?
The second item is a simple gasket seal for the brake fluid reservoir cap. I can find cap for $40 or so, but my cap is fine, I just need the gasket

Google "C34388 bushing". Lots of choices. Some guys make their own. Search the archives for a handy replacement in the form of a door hinge bushing as sold in the "Help" packs at your local parts retailer.
No help on the cap gasket. Might have to make your own
