Angry I Broke A Part and do not know what is

I have a 1991 Jag XJS v12 convertible. I was changing plug #6b (passenger side) and was taking old plug out and this part is plastic on the inside and rubber on the outside and kind of round with a spot for a wire and the plastic inside broke. Can anyone help me figure out what it is and how to change it?

Hi Timolds

Give the Plugs a Blast around, with some Compressed Air 'Before You Take The Plugs Out or Go any Further!

And whatever you do just don't drop anything down the Spark Plug Hole not even Plastic as that would almost Certainly Ruin Your Engine!

Sounds like the oil pressure switch.

The OEM-style look like this…

but the URO brand have a rubber exterior like this:

Don’t be running the car with a broken off oil pressure switch. It’s liable to spray oil everywhere!

BTW this is located almost under the oil pressure SENSOR, which looks like this:

WARNING: These senders, the big one that does the gauge and the small one that is broken that does the oil warning light, are bolted into an aluminium casting which is upright and its foot bolted to the bottom of the V. When you undo either of them, you MUST support the aluminium casting with a wrench or a pair of grips, against the turning force of the wrench undoing the sender so that it is not taking the force of the undoing torque by itself. It may well snap off if this is not done, as the senders can be VERY tight!
