I remember seeing this advertised months, maybe years ago even. I'm quite sure its the same car, there can't be two similar in the Milwaukee area. It looks like the project was done well from the pictures, not really my style though. Kind of a small niche market I'd guess, may take a while to sell at that price.

It's damn pretty, it has several key elements that help the looks. The wheels are very nice, and with the thick rubber bumpers removed, and the rest smoothed into the body. It makes it much smoother, and more finished looking. On the other hand. The carbs sticking 2 foot out the hood/ bonnet are a little disheartening, and detract from the smoothness of the overall look, the rear spoiler while nice, is curved the opposite of the trunk/ boot, and looks kind of silly from the rear. All in all not a bad ride. But the interior??? What house of Ill repute did he escape from!!!

House of ill repute !!!! that made me laugh and brought back a memory from my past profession.
I received an assignment as a consultant to appraise the value of a mid 70's Cadillac Coupe de Ville coupe. It's owner, a young Catholic priest.
A grateful deceased parish member's family gave it to him. It was rear ended. A lawsuit resulted. A fuss over value resulted. Just an old car, or was it more.
I met the young priest at the rectory. The car was in pristine condition.
I looked inside. Velour wood and engraved alloy. I made an ill thought remark. "Looks like the interior of a brothel". Wise beyond his years, young priest responded. "But, neither you or I really know what they look like"!!!! Saved !

Someone put a TON more than $15K into this car. Not to mention the labor. I didn't read any mods done to the diff or IRS and this car looks like a straight line car, good luck with that Jag 10 bolt & IRS.
Can really appreciate the work & like the car. I think it would go for a lot more than $15K at one of the big US auctions.
