I was wondering if anyone knew if the the pre-HE heads were transferable to HE blocks and vise versa?

Just in case you were not aware, the blocks are the same, but the pistons and compression ratios are not. So the heads will physically fit, but substantial alterations will be necessary to make the engines run properly.
