Default Jaguar XJS ECU vacuum line replacement

Hi forum, i just found out that my ECU line doesnt hold any pressure, so assume its leaking somewhere, i have already found one leak near the wheel arch, metal line was rusted out, i cut it and it still leak somewhere, i have replaced the rubber line from ecu to the metal line at rear, but it doesnt help, so leak is either somewhere at metal line, or rubber line from crosspipe, both of them is hard to examine, since you cant reach them without removing parts, so i just think to abandon metal line and put another one in parallel. What hose type will be a good fit for that job?my thinking is that soft silicon lines that i used in the engine bay probably wont be a good fit, since on the longer distance they can "play" (or not?) So what shall i use?

Sure, i will try to find a leak spot, mb its somewhere visible , but still prefer to have a plan B

Thank you

EFI fuel line.

Open the ECU, there is a SMALL hose inside, spigot to MAP sensor, they fail with age, and people applying PRESSURE to a designed VACUAM line, OOPS>

I used nylon air brake tubing like this

Amazon Amazon

Rigid enough that it won't collapse under vacuum, flexible enough that you can easily route it where needed, very durable

Conventional vacuum hose for joining the tube to the balance pipe and ECU

Cheers
