Has anyone been able to use JTIS on Win10?
I installed it, but it exits when you click on anything.
I was not able to run Setup.exe in the DAO35\DISK1 folder, nor did compatibility modes work.
I don't have MS office installed, so no MS Access.

I have it running on Win 7, never tried 10 though. I keep an old XP laptop simply for car stuff.

 

I installed Winhelp32 with help from Jim Lombardi,
downloaded and registered dao350.dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\DAO
per instructions. It does launch now, and some XJS files, 95 and 96 XJS were available.
Are there other files I need download and install to get my 91 5.3L manual and parts lists? Where are those files?

I don't know if my problems are due to the lack of a proper DA0 3.5/Jet installation, and I know no way of actually installing the DAO/Jet files in the Disk1 folder, because Win10 doesn't have a safe mode, and I don't know any other way to run the setup.exe file in that folder.
Is there another way to install the DAO3.5 files, and if the JTIS program is working at all, do I even need to run Setup.exe in \Disk1 ?
I don't want to run in an emulator or VMware
