Different people, but I got ripped off a couple years back on a guy who took my PayPal money; I sent him my motorcycle carbs to rebuild and he never sent them back. I called the police local to him, and they simply went to his house and I got my carbs.

 

PayPal is useless. They can pick flys**t out of the elephant's a$$ but they let unauthorized/unknown people charge to your debit/credit card. It happened to me to the tune of $244.50. Ask me and I'll give you the gory details. A slimey company to be sure.

 

PayPal were great to me even though I'd paid the guy as a gift so he didn't get hit with the fees. They acknowledged that there had been 2 other complaints and they refunded my money.

Does this just get him potentially shut down or could you get your money back?

 

I would opine. If it was BW DBA, he is still liable. If he is still BW dba, same answer.


But, if it is BW. an LLC, dba, a whole different world.


Check the local ficticious (sp)name filings.
