Default Made some smoke today!

Unfortunately it wasn’t the good kind! Pulled into the driveway and smoke came rolling out from under the hood! I opened it and sure enough, antifreeze here there and everywhere! Looking around it looks like my water rail hose blew! Argh! At least I have big hands to try to get to it with. Smh!

Lotsa fun will be had, and strange words uttered.

Enjoy.

When you replaced it last, did you use aftermarket of OEM hose?

NOPE,

BUT

SNG, and the others list them, and I would not hesitate when the next V12 follows me home.

Kits were not listed back in the days of my V12's, so one by one.

That's alright, I don't drink lol 😁. I've only owned it for almost a year, and have only been driving it for a little over a month. The upper and lower rad hoses were replaced at some point (still had stickers on them) and I thought maybe a previous previous owner refreshed the whole cooling system. Oh well

Neither did I till the first V12 arrived. Now they are gone, so is the drink, mostly.

Do the 3 hoses at the rear of the engine, they have killed many a V12 down here.

MONGREL job, but the peace of mind is priceless.

Then the smaller heater return hose on top of the spigot of the radiator where the bottom fits, another Mongrel, and very much forgotten hose.

Have fun. I am about to do the same to the X Type, they be 10 year old now, OH DEAR, I think the V12 is a breeze from I CANNOT see in this beast.

Might start drinking again,

MY mistake, sorry for that.

Soooo, you split the bas^^d hose from the water pump to the inlet housing under the Inlet manifold, DAMN, that is NOT fun.

Good luck.
