misfire cylinder 3 1994 xjs 4.0 6 cylinder

Hi,I have a misfire on cylinder 3 on 4.0 6 cylinder 1994 xjs.I have swapped coil packs,changed plugs and swapped injectors-it always shows an obd code for misfire on cylinder 3 and does notchange with swaps.Anybody had a similar problem?

You mentioned it's a1994 car and "coil packs". Does it have an AJ16 engine?

If you've swapped coil packs and injectors and the problem hasn't moved, maybe look at the integrity of the wiring particularly for the coil pack.

I'd look at the injector next. Perhaps remove all six and get them cleaned/refurbished? At the very least bench test the injector with a 9v and a momentary switch. You'll burn out that injector quickly...
