Default newbie: how to test fuel pressure?

Hi all! Typical newbie question: Where is the ideal place to tee-in a fuel pressure gauge to test my 85 v12 ? Although both my regulators are still intact, I understand only one is needed. Ideally, I would like, in the future, to install a permanment pressure gauge under the hood. Thanks in advnce!

Ted in BC, Canada.

On the left side of the fuel rail there's a pipe/hose line that runs from the LH regulator to the fuel rail. "Tee" into the rubber section of that line for your fuel pressure reading.

The hose will have to be replaced afterwards but that's easy....just cut off the old hose and press a new one on over the barbed nipples. Make sure to use fuel injection grade hose.

It's the right side pressure regulator....the "inlet" regulator....that can be removed.

Cheers
DD
