Was recently on the Pelican Porsche 911 forum and there are literally dozens of discussions on engine and transmission oil...Interestingly, there are no such threads here:-(

I realize the V12s cars aren't designed for the heat. Therefore, I'm asking what brand/viscosity of oil would be best suited in this fairly warm environment.
Moreover, I just bought 4 cases of Valvoline VR1 20W-50 Racing Oil (1/2 price sale at Auto-Zone) for my other cars and was wondering if this stuff will also work for my Kitty...

While you're at it, what's your suggestion on trans oil?
