Default A pair of green plugs, not connected to anything

1996 Convertible, US model, she is still new to me.

It's cold outside, light snow, I still couldn't resist to work on her a little in the garage.
Replaced the gas struts, bonnet/hood and trunk. Specially the struts holding the trunk lid were very week.

While replacing the gas strut front left I recognised these two light green plugs, connected to nothing. Right behind a series of blue relays. It looks like an electronic module is missing in between.
Any idea what could it be?

Thanks
-- Bela

They are for daytime driving lights (DRLs) fitted primarily to Canadian XJS'. DRLs are required there. It turns on the headlights whenever the engine is running. There is a harness, as well as three relays, that completes the system.
I found a NOS harness on ebay and fitted the system to my '95. It was plug and play.

I see, thank you for your quick reply!
It's good to know that it can be retrofitted.
Thanks again
