pics
Usually what I do is load them to an image hosting site like Flickr. Then on flickr, there is a sharing option, I think it's a curved arrow. Click on that and you'll get a long string address under the BBCode tab. Within that you'll see IMG in square brackets [] at the start and end of a address. Copy everything inside the img, including the img and the square brackets at the start and end of the address, discarding the rest and paste it into the message box, and voila! Your picture will appear.

Hi rgp
When you either start a thread or reply to one, just above the window where you have written your message (or Reply) you will see some Symbols.
Including: B I U A (then a Globe 'Thingy' with what looks like goggles) Then a Yellow Envelope with what looks like a (Couple of Pyramids, with a dot above them)
Photographers call that a Histogram (But you don't need to know that)
If you took your hands off the Keyboard, you will be looking at the Cursor Flashing
You can leave the Cursor where it is or move it But where ever you leave it Flashing, is the Place your Photo will appear
Leave the Cursor Flashing and Click on the Yellow Envelope with the Pyramids.
A Window will then open which says: Get File From Your Computer Click on its Green Bar
This will then take you straight to all the Files on your Computer
Open your Photos Folder and Click on the Photo you want
The Photo You Selected will then appear in a Separate Window (At which point you can add some Text if you want)
Then Click on the Upload Bar and within about 10 Seconds, Your Selected Photo will then appear on your Post.
It is very easy to do and just takes a matter of Seconds
If you want more than one Photo, then just rinse and repeat.

I always load pics onto my profile in an album - it's a simple drag and drop that way. Then once the album is saved, you can click on that picture and there'll be a "Share" link under it. Click/copy that, paste it into your post, and you're done.
