My pulley is mounted on a hub with 3 small bolts. The hub is part of the original pump, you can see that in the eBay link in my last post.
There is a division line indicating that the hub could be separate from the axle. Just a simple press fit with a woodruff key ?
The hub is a press fit and you need a puller that fits in the recess around the hub snout to pull it off. DO NOT use a normal pulley remover it will damage the hub.
There is a 3/8UNC thread inside the shaft to re-install the hub. It is a very tight press fit (no key)
Quick question while talking about power steering.....
I need to top up my power steering - car came with a can of Pentonsin CHF 11S in the boot, but it is green.... stuff in the power steering is red.
What else can I use ?
What do you think the 11S was used for? Convertible roof pump?

Dexron 2 or Dexron 3. That is what the pump requires...
I sourced a used pump, which turned out to be non-metric. I then assembled my own pump again (slowly and with high focus on getting it right...) I reused the reservoir part form the spare pump and did the bleeding with wheels of ground. I have just taken the car for a small drive, and it looks like I now have functional PAS again without weird noises.
The tightness will have to be reviewed later. I overfilled the pump and had oil coming out at the filler cap when it got warm...
