Radio fuse on 1992 XJS
From the manual, Number 7 fuse, left front fuse panel (The ones under the dash)
Now, I have found mistakes in the manuals before, and I'm not phyiscally near my car so I can't go and check for you.
Whats the symptoms ? stereo not working ?

Good news!
By the way, you also have a smaller fuse box in the trunk and another small one under the hood. If you are ok reading electrical diagrams go to the FAQ sticky and click on the Electrical_diagram link. This goes to a great website that has all of the circuit diagrams in pdf format that you can download. Many XJS mysteries can be solved with these circuit diagrams (and / or a hammer)

Thanks Sarc,
I did not know about the fusebox in the trunk or under the hood. The radio worked just fine until it was stored in the garage, over winter.Took the battery out as I live up North , in the spring , punched in the security code, radio worked by sight but no sound. Ever heard of this ? Is there a fuse for the speakers? Its a 1992 XJS .
