Default Radius Arms and Mounts

Is someone able to direct me to a photo or a schematic of the radius arms and mounts on a 1990 XJS V12. Since I do not have any sort of manual as of yet. I wish to be knowledgeable on this subject.

This is a fabulous forum with great people !!! Getting my car soon.

The SNG Barratt website has a downloadable XJS catalog which will help. Pages 27-30 will be of help to you concerning the rear suspension.

That is a very helpful catalog. So the radius arms are a part of the rear suspension. And if I am looking for rust, it would be on the frame where these radius arms attach. Am I correct? I would guess that being from Mississippi, you do not encounter too much rust issues.

Jim,

My 88 is an ebay buy from Maine. Believe me, I have more than my southern share of rust issues. I had to rebuild the rear jacking points/front radius arm mounting points, and part of the rear sub frame rails using 1/4" steel plate, and 1-1/4" angle iron.
