Default Rear bearing failure

My other rear bearing has failed, the last time (other side) the shop tried everything...heat cold hammers presses and even sent it to a machine shop with a 100 ton press they ended up crushing the stub axle thing trying to push it out as nothing else would work. The Jag shop's 20ton press did nothing.

Is there anything I can do to loosen it up prior to returning the car when the bearings arrive?

Just for context this is why my car is hobbling and grinding down the road to the point of being undrivable.

Strange they have so much trouble with it,I used heat in my shop and even the tough one came loose.I don't know of anything that you could do to loosen it before replacement

Do you mean they couldn't get the halfshaft out of the stub axle, or couldn't get the bearing races out of the hub carrier?

Couldnt get the shaft out, I wondered if baking it in an oven would work lol...I'd rather not repeat last time which ended in buying a whole 'new' unit from a less neglected car.

I wonder if someone previously used loctite on the shafts? Heating to 400F will break the bond. Either that or they rusted in place.

Mine took a 40 tonne press with a thumping action, it could easily have been impossible, as not much more than that will break the ally hub carrier.
