Can someone tell me if i have to remove the door panel to get to the wiring on the joysticks or are the two screws attached to a fixed receiver.

 

The screws are straight into the door metal. Just unscrew them and there is just enough loom to allow you to get atthe plugs and everything. Beware of the loom, once unplugged from the switches, disappearing back into the door, so string it up.
