I'm looking for a shop near me experienced with earlier XJS's. I acquired a 96 XJS 2 door convertible and want to get some issues addressed on the car. I'm in the Philadelphia area close to New Jersey and Delaware.

 

GLM, think you're in luck with the 96 model. It's OBDII, R134 freon and coil-over plugs engine with standard mechanics. Any reputable shop can service the car for routine maintenance. Quirky "Jag" issues are best left to specialty shops. If you have a local JCNA club (google it), check in with them for shops they use and trust.
